Sunday Snapshot • March 28

Here’s the March 28 election snapshot,  a weekly look at how municipal candidates are distributed across our grand city.

The big news this week is that there are no longer any vacant wards!  That makes the blue code available, and so I’ve completely re-shuffled the legend.  It took me over an hour to re-colourise the whole map, but it was kind of meditative (like doing the dishes…)

Other interesting news is that Etobicoke seems to be picking up the pace!  After weeks of relative quiet, we have 3 new candidates west of the Humber.  That’s almost half of the 7 new names added to the list this week.

There are still 11 wards with acclaimed candidates (no opponents).  We’ll be watching these closely, and encouraging people to run in those wards.
